Orff Music Program
The Orff Music Program at Winnipeg Montessori School is a fun and exciting program that explores the world of music. The program is delivered through 30 minute classes that incorporate listening, singing, instrument playing, movement and speech. Also included in the program is a study of composers and the parts of an orchestra, with guest musicians invited to display their talents. The children are introduced to different cultural instruments that coincide with the cultural studies undertaken in the Montessori classroom.
The Orff Music Program is taught on Thursdays and is incorporated into circle time on a daily basis.
